Spokane Hypnosis Services-Intentional Hypnosis
Have you noticed the term authenticity being used a lot lately? I sense that people want to be authentic, yet wonder how many actually understand what it takes to do so. The problem as I see it is directional, outward or inward. Looking outward to define yourself, often making choices to please others by being a team player or even to avoid blame or shame. You may find that words and actions feel a little out of sync or perhaps not quite your own.
This misalignment presents itself as a hesitation or inaction that may cause self-doubt. This stops you from speaking or acting from your truth and leaves you with a feeling of shame for not having done so. You may have experienced a desire to speak to a cute gal or guy at a social event or a desire to ask your employer for a raise. It could be something you want to speak to your spouse about, yet you keep putting it off. It's not your fault, as this hesitation was programmed into you as young child and then reinforced over time. It is largely an unconscious program which is challenging to see and to change. It is uncomfortable to do things that you aren't proud of and yet it seems like you just can't stop yourself. If it feels like you are a character in a story, playing a predetermined role then you are beginning to awaken to your truth. This is your programming or background story, the Buddhists call it conditioning. The key to changing the story is to begin by bringing awareness to it. We then see it for the trap it is, and we begin to change it. Intentional Hypnosis programs guide you on both a conscious and subconscious level to make choices in the moment. This becomes a practice that leads to a freedom that few experience.
